This song reminds me so much of my son and my late husband. When he was going off to college, he was so afraid to leave for fear his dad would die while he was away, but I think, sort of glad he didn't have to watch him die day by day. I think he felt guilty for those feelings. I listen to this song, and I have shared it with him. We will dance to this song on the day he marries for the mother/son dance. Such a beautiful, meaningful song, especially to us.
