Like all the greatest pop songs, Free To Go is a parable of sorts. It uses familiar situations to convey a message that's particular to the author but also empathetic for others. It's a rights of passage tale. It's about growing up, about coping with loss, about discovering that age need not necessarily convey wisdom - indeed, that the opposite may be true. A hit from and to the heart.

why are you worried about the games? Honey its about the music. This was one of my favorite bands in high school in addition to Sebadoh...All I know is it stands the test of time
