TIRED OF WAITING skladba skupiny THE FLOCK z debutového albumu, ktorý bol v rebríčku Billboardu 20 týždňov od 20. septembra 1969 a skončil na 48.m. Bola to cover verzia hitu č.1 v UK skupiny Kinks z roku 1965, ktorej autorom bol Ray Davies.Pokiaľ ide o členov skupiny na obrázku z albumu FLOCK z ľava do prava sú Tom Webb saxofon, Fred Glickstein gitara, spev, Jerry Goodman husle, Rick Canoff saxofon,Ron Karpman bicie, Jerry Smith basgitara a Frank Posa trubka.Rick Canoff zomrel 18. júna 1988 vo veku 40 rokov.Skupina vydala štyri piesne na singloch, ktoré sa neumiestnili v rebríčku Billboardu. Boli to Can´t You See, Are You The Kind, Take Me Back a What Would You Do It The Sun Die. Niektoré skladby skupiny svojou kakofonickou hrou huslí pripomínajú tvorbu britskej progresívnej rockovej skupiny Curved Air napr. Vivaldi z albumu Air Conditioning z roku 1970 kde hral na husle Darryl Way nar. 1948 klasicky vzdelaný hudobník, ktorý s Francisom Monkmanom klavesy vytvoril skupinu Sisyphus z ktorej sa vyvinula skupina Curved Air.

Bought the lP new when it came out. Saw them live at the Electric Circuit in Mishawaka,IN. in 1970. There was no crowd that night . Most people were playing pool in the next room. Weird,eh?  Peace.

Their treatment of this song puts me in mind of Eric Burdon and War, a Jazz/Funk group who did this kind of thing to songs like Paint it Black.  Not keen on it myself, but in both cases I know that a lot of people are.  Nothing wrong with having different tastes, it would be unutterably dull if we all liked the same things and did the same things.  So for those of you who clearly appreciate this kind of treatment: "Enjoy".
