The song's more of an indictment of indoctrination camps(schools) + society as a whole than violent video games specifically. Our culture glorifies violence through double standards and flimsy rationalizations. From childhood we're exposed to the idea that violence is a legitimate means to get what you want. The kind of blind nationalism he talks about is ingrained in our culture through sports teams. People talk about their favorite team the same way they talk about the military.

What. Shooting animals in a forest is not the same as shooting people in a war. And if you are one of those people who think everyone in Texas runs around with guns, its illegal to have a weapon in public. You can only have a gun in your house, and in the trunk of your car. On that note, you can only take your gun from your house to the trunk of your car, but it is not legal to take your gun from your car to your house. Texas.

@Isoya22 this song is about nationalism, so it makes sense that people are talking about it in the comments. and youtube is not for music. it's for sharing video content, much of which is for sparking conversations over issues like this.

@mustardnight Why should you? Nationalism is cancerous. I can understand about being proud of the community you grew up with, the ones who DID shape your life, but the entire country? If you're proud of your country, you should be willing to help those in the most need. In America, that philosphy is crapped on. Think of how Soliders are treated after returning from war to protect America. Or how the poor are always the ones who get the brunt of tax cuts, etc.

@mustardnight However I, and they, don't believe this means you're 'better' than any other one person. I'm patriotic to Britain, but I don't believe my country's word is law for all.

Not gonna lie, this is an excellent song. The lyrics are excellent and the sound is very interesting. And I normally listen to alot of metal so for something like this to stand out to me takes alot. Bravo. :)

@tirpae There is nothing wrong with the idea of a nation but there is something wrong with the state of ours. People are critical of the US because of the disregard for our rights and laws by the ruling elite whose sole motivation is profit, not our well-being. Sure there is no hunger, war in the US and we all enjoy a comfy existence but that does not mean that things are going as they should. The level of corruption in the government and corporate world is staggering and MUST be reversed.

@Ohkto Government is a failed yet necessary idea. Animals cannot handle the ability of our brain. The human race was doomed from the beginning.
