The Faces at the BBC from the Sounds on Saturday programme shown in 1971. Arguably their best performance on TV. They show themselves as being a good, tight live band with bags of energy. How can it be this long ago?!

Great to see Kenny Jones in his natural element. It was never a good fit for him to be sitting behind Keith Moon's drum kit in The Who.

This band got it right, doing this track in a rock version. The Temps version is untouchable, but this is good too.

BEST live rock and roll band EVER. When Ronnie was cooking and Rod was dancing all over the place and the bass, drums and organ melted into a beast.....BOOM!!!!!

I knew this great tune was a cover, but the first time I heard it was by a band called Uptown on the Oak Lawn Records label back in the glory days of the Starck Club in Dallas. It was devastation on the dance floor, when this tune came on, you dropped whatever drink or substance you were partaking in and rushed the dance floor. ;) It was the anthem for the best days in Deep Ellum and all us miscreants up way past dawn dancing on the roofs of after hour clubs!
