One of my Beat faves, and perhaps their quirkiest tune - funky and spastic like a Devo song, with a smooth topping of blue-eyed and black-eyed soul. Would have been one of their big hits (they shot a video for it), but as an ode to masturbation it probably made some DJs and promoters squeamish. Make yourself tense!

God dammit, really would give my left nut to have been 25 in 1980 stead of -1! The Beat are amazing for a great many reasons.

no band now would have the balls to have a 60 year old sax player in the group

@kenfig Oh..well, yeah I don't know if I can speak on the UK version since I'm from the US. But I did at least read that the UK version did have an extra album featuring B-sides and remixes and stuff.

@kenfig Actually, the only compilation this song appears on is their 1983 best-of album, "What Is Beat?". That's where I first heard and fell in love with this song.

YES!!!! My #1 favorite English Beat song. I had always believed in my mind there was a music video for this buried somewhere. And now I can finally see it for myself. Too awesome!

Where on earth did you get this from? The picture quality is superb. This is one of The Beat's forgotten singles :(
