One of the later hits for the Drifters. This was after they moved to the UK and hooked up with the songwriters over there. Prior to the move they had the hits like "At the Club" and "Saturday Night at the Movies". This is recorded from the original 7" vinyl.

I had the pleasure of watching them perform live in 2003 and getting their autographs afterwards: such a smooth bunch of guys who did such great music - RIP, Johnny Moore

The Drifters are an excellent soul group with such breathtaking tones. Brother Johnny Moore, you are never forgotten.

Sorry about that. Some of the songs I recorded were MP3 and it seems some of them were whisper quiet. When I get around to it, I'll convert it to a louder file and upload it like I have with some of the others. Thank you for letting me know.

The Drifters were undoubtely the greatest soul group especially in the early seventies. Bro. Johnny Moore who will be undoubtely missed, this was a man who wasn't Mister Drfiter for nothing when he took over from Bro. Ben E. King, because Johnny with his smooth voice and uplifting talent is totally non-replaceble. The Drifters were definetely the dynamic golden soul group ever.

I actually found this song very much by accident but I'm glad I did. They certainly did have some great songs in the early seventies, that's for sure...

The Drifters were the greatest ever soul group especially in the early seventies. The unique and courageous of Brother Johnny Moore is totally undisputedly non-replaceable. Brother Johnny Moore was an excellent lead singer of the soul group and he isn't Mister Drifter. RIP, Brother Johnny Moore.
