Come guys, why u all guys try compare the singers with Jim its impossible, the singers are aware of that, they have to try to do the best, this song thou is a little to much for this guy, The Doors, the best band ever.

I completely agree, Sapp did a great job on this song. However, can't be Jim, because he isn't. Also, did anyone notice that the bass player is playing the wrong riff? he's outlining a sus2 chord on E instead of a minor one...

My opinion, too. Jim's my favorite. But Roger Daltry--especially his "Live at Leeds performance--comes in a close second.

He's actually doing pretty well. Stapp gets a lot of flack but honestly I think he's doing a decent job oh wait, I just got to the gotta love your man part.

This was a disgrace to mankind. And I'm 79 percent serious about that.

I agree with you. I really enjoyed the revolving lineup of the doors of the 20th century. I saw it as a tribute, each singer brought in a different interpretation and meaning, not to replace, but to cherish the legacy. Although having said that, Stapp was probably the worst vocalist to be featured. Brett Scallions of Fuel and Scott Weiland of STP both brought some really beautiful interpretations to these songs that are cherished by so many in, my opinion, a respectful manner.

This is worse than Creed because this song is good without Scott Stapp, unlike the whole Creed catalog, which just sucks.

always remember hearing this when i was at a flea market in France when I was around 12 - 13 the organ solo is one of the most mesmerising pieces of music that i can ever imagine. RIP Ray you made the Doors and were the person who believed in Jims poetry. RIP you are what made the Doors
