I knew Jim Dooley in the 70s. The group were very Abbaish but good. Toured Sweden and they played to sell out audiences

70-е - моё детство...!!! Была пластинка с Доули Фэмели - врублю на всю громкость вертушку -весь двор слушал, а колонки ого-го какие были...А сам танцую...в комнате. Да-а-а...

The late seventies were my era ,and wish I could go back there , but it's funny how Abba's influence was on so many pop songs , I don't think at the time we noticed , but 40 years later when you listen to some songs its definitely there , The Dooley's were a top notch pop group ( you weren't supposed to say so cos punk was out and your mate's would give you a bit of stick !! And in those days you had to wait for Top of the pops to see them , happy times long ago .................
