Love them.. makes me.. takes me back to another better time... modern pop music doesnt have the soul&heart that they and so many bands from the 70s era had...

This song knocked me out when I heard it the first time and it still knocks me out. The drive of this song is fantastic! The Doobies are still my favorite band ever. Dynamite!

Best song of this group. Michael Mcdonald made the group better though. When I am listening to this in the car its a positive.

The Doobies were never quite the same after Tiran left the band. Willie Weeks, Skylark and John Cowan...all great musicians. But no one even came close to Tiran Porter. All the great Doobie tunes, including and especially this one shine in large part because of the picking style of Porter. Doobie bass lines NEED a kick-ass thumping pick-driven sound.

This is beautiful. The vocals, the strings, the intensity of his lyrics...and then the plucking of the violin strings with a merge into the strings takes me to a wide open mental journey of no return...this is heaven.

always liked this song a lot, doesn't seem to get a whole lot of airplay on the oldies/classic rock stations unlike most of their classic hit songs.
