At least this song has been taken up by real kids in America, since Kim Wilde is as English as Shepherd's pie, nothing even remotely American about her.Having said that Kim has this ice queen quality about her which makes her one of the coolest performers coming out of the early eighties.

If I ever form a band we are going to cover Kim Wilde songs. Most likely songs from her first four albums. But not this song! For over 30 years now, this song gets covered by 999 quadrillion bands every year! I like the Donnas but I think this sucks! I like Nirvana's drunken, out of tune version a lot more than this. No one can capture Kim's magic though.
