I wanna like TTB, I really do. But I love the ABB, which I see rarely, because I dislike the circus atmosphere, but my favorite band to see for years - every time they came around, was DTB. So amazing, such energy and a true jam band that didn't feel like one. Everything was amazing and right on time and note. I'd go see TTB more, but I can't bear to watch Mattison standing in the background singing backing vocals. He should reform Scrapomatic and wait for this whole baby-momma thing to blow over. And then there's the whole thing of Tedeschi, a great singer and adequate guitar player, just ripping off Bonnie Raitt too much. It's just too conspicuous. Every time I watch her perform, the entire time, I'm just thinking about how much she COMPLETELY rips off Bonnie Raitt. It prevents me from enjoying the TTB shows, unfortunately.

It just doesn't get any better than The Derek Trucks Band. I truly hope they reunite. Every video I find of this show is phenominal. I have to find this dvd, in fact I'm gonna do some searching right now.
