...techniques like soloing, limited lang ang notes na kayang daanan ng bass (esp high notes) kaya dapat maging creative with what is given. sa CHORDING naman, i believe the guitar is designed to make chords easier. with 6 strings, mas maraming chords (and variations) ang magagawa mo. pero hindi talaga nagpapahuli ang mga bahista! kaya rin natin gumawa ng chords with only 4 strings! altho mas mahirap and unconventional. pero personally i LOVE the sound of bass chords! ^^ yun lang muna. salamat!:)

hello mark/iyana? :)) well that is a tough question. i believe that the bass and the guitar are two very different instruments. so mahirap sila ikumpara. pero i think its more CHALLENGING to play the bass in my humble opinion. siguro dahil sa bigger strings? longer distance between frets? it will be difficult for beginners (especially with small hands) to get used to the instrument. dahil narin sa fewer strings and shorter range ng bass, kailangan magimprovise ng bassist with his techniques.
