Patrick: actually this is not Carnegie Hall (a concert I attended(!) and is my all time favorite Brubeck concert: the entire quartet was just on that day). This version is new to me, but obviously Morello on drums, but not 100% sure it is Eugene Wright on bass (style sounds a little different to my ears). Sounds like a little later than 1963. Man, I wish more and more tapes of the golden era concerts would start showing up.

At Carnegie Hall is a jazz album by The Dave Brubeck Quartet. It was recorded at the famed Carnegie Hall in New York City on Friday, February 22, 1963. St. Louis Blues is from that album and not the Time Out album. Nice music just the same !

Here I am at age 87, still enjoying Brubeck as I did when I first heard him in the 40's when he was an unknown! Perhaps my favorite group! LOL Marv Puryear
