yeah they were insane back then but I guess they're trying to test stuff, they never fit into one genre. First it was garage rock and then psychedelic, 13 tales was more pop and then 80's style electro. Warlords of Mars was a mix of 13 tales and come down. Earth to was Electronic rock and then there was this machine which is described as stripped down and laid back style.

It just doesn't have those insanely good riffs like their old stuff, it sounds a bit too commercial. Definitely not saying your taste is bad or anything either, just personal preference :)

this song is probably the weakest off the album. simply because it has no words. But I still prefer the 13 tales, come down and rule ok?. The album is great but it is a grower, it gets better with every listen
