@infocado i will have to dig them out and change the format to get sum decent quality posts up, i said earlier that they use a track called 'frantic' on the 'dont trouble trouble' demo, i think it is actually a track called 'blind leading the blind' its been years since i've heard it but i am positive there are 3 unreleased songs on these rehearsal tapes!

@TheCuriousLeader its an amazing post eh? at first i thought it was just a 'therapy' demo...then it goes into an old un-released song called 'frantic'...i nearly shat when i heard it haha!! i think i still have a cuppla old cassettes in my attic of early rehearsal stuff circa 1978, frantic is one of the tracks on them. Finding this on youtube tonite has made me soo happy!

Great post. I'd love to get hold of more demos and informal jam sessions to hear how their ideas developed over the years. I think it's interesting how one song can be turned into three (at least). I even hear a bit of In a Rut in there! By the way - if anyone out there could get hold of the MCA tapes from their Hammersmith Odeon live show I think the world would be a better place if we could have a proper version of The Damned's epic cover of LA Woman.
