I love the echo/effects on roberts vocals. He used a lot of this type of effects on pornography tour as well.

One of the first Cure songs to make me take notice. It's a perfect balance of verse verse chorus, etc., so it's pallatable and yet it's so bitter tasting to hear. It's so 'sitting in the corner of a dark attic rocking back and forth' kind of sound...heh. Great up, thanks much. Seriously a great song which they should never leave behind. "She got the piggy" refrain is moving and really an awesome vocal riff. Great band, they were like the DARK Cocteau Twins..heh. J/K - Blessings!

@MrWhiskeytangofoxtro yes, the bassist is called Norman (I mispelled his name and wrote 'Normal') I think I prefer him to Phil and probably Simon! (nooo sacrilegious!!!) but the truth is that Norman Fisher is a guy with lots of solo projects and whose personality would have crashed with Robert's... maybe they crashed after all and that's why he is not mentioned often...
