Note: I am aware that there's no percussion tracks in this recording... I decided against it whilst mixing later on... I would have had to record the first track again (which, incidentally, is used to establish timing for all of the other tracks) if I wanted to correct that little lie!
Oh, and the video in the bottom-left was recorded a bit too late in the day, really, I should have waited until the following day to record it... But... Uh... I spent around two weeks making this, and I really couldn't justify spending (yet) another day sat in front of my microphone...
And yes, I know that the solo at the end is a bit iffy, but yeah... I've played it several hundred times (no joke), and I can't get it perfect, so that'll have to do.
...And yeah, the video isn't synchronised perfectly with the audio, for some reason (frame rate issues and rubbish free software)... Ugh! My life is agony!
...And also, you might notice my Dad playing his Saxophone in the background at the beginning. That's through two closed doors and five metres of hallway... Noisy bloody thing...
...And my god! Now that I'm studying music in College, my (supposedly) learned ears are picking out all sorts of horrible problems with this recording! I'm quite pleased with the sound I got from that crappy £20 mic though!
