*"The worst produced album in the world"*I've been a The Cure fan since I was about 13. I started listening to the "easy" songs and hated them first. Somehow I learned to love the music.One of their records that kind of hit me in the face was Three Imaginary Boys and Boys Don't Cry. The two records are similar and contains almost the same songs. Three Imaginary Boys was their debut album and it didn't sell well.Later they put the same songs on the Boys Don't Cry album and got famous.Anyways.. People always ask what the hell was wrong with the person mixing and mastering the album. Some call it the worst produced album in the world.I would say that it's very unique and the only album/albums of it's kind. It's so honest and the sound is so clear.It really sounds like three guys (maybe imaginary) standing in a small room playing their instruments. It's so great and if I would record an own album I would record it like that.The album is great and some of their best songs are on it.In my opinion Californication by Red Hot Chili Peppers is the worst produced album in the world. They clearly recorded Kiedis voice with the recording volume too high, making his voice distort in an uncontrolled way all through the album.
