Truly 1962's "one of the Best" it flows with Memories . The rhythm is incredible !

Sorry, Darlene Love would have ruined this song...this is one the best songs from 1962. Barbara Alston worked her magic on this one...thanks for the post.

From the mind and soul of the great Barry Mann and Cynthia Weill.

I love this music! Makes me feel as though those good years growing up with great classics like this are 'just around the corner' at the local juke joint! Too bad that the kids of today won't ever know the experience of really 'feeling alive' as we did back then!

One of the earlier and best of the Phillies singles what more can I say I remember hearing it when I was 12 riding the Hudson LIne where it's elevated above East Harlem down to about 105 st where it goes underground I pictured this guy working downtown or midtown and coming home uptown to East or Spanish Harlem (until the 1950s it was Italian Harlem in fact my first wife's father was born there) Anyway a few years later when I walked those streets it didn't seem as romantic but I was just a kid
