From the 80's Channel 4 TV show 'Unforgettable'
The Crystals are an American vocal rock and roll band from New York who rose to fame in the 1960s. Their best known songs include 'He's A Rebel,' 'Da Doo Ron Ron' and 'Then He Kissed Me' were all produced by Phil Spector and were chart hits between 1961-1964. The girl group emerged in the period just before the rise of the British Invasion.
"Da Doo Ron Ron" was released in 1963 and hit the US & UK charts peaking at #3 in the US & #5 in the UK. It was then re-released in 1974 and entered the UK charts at No. 15.

That's NOT DeeDee on the far right. I worked with her for years, and am still in touch with her. But I'm so curious to know who these ladies are!!! The lead looks very familiar. It MUST be a tribute, especially if it was on a TV show. 10 years ago

Well...sorry you don't have the Original lead singer LaLa Brooks so you don't have The Crystals...however...La La does perform live still...you should give credit where credit is due10 years ago

There are no original members of The Crystals in this video But! The lady in the middle Peggi Blu was a backing vocalist with The Crystals in the mid 70s along with original Crystal's miss Dee Dee Kenniebrew and Barbara Alston. The Crystals still perform to this very day with Dee Dee Kenniebrew who has been a Crystal from day one. If you google The Crystals photo bucket there is a Photo of the 70s Crystals "Direct From America" is on the photo.10 years ago
