I'd say this could be a candidate for a pioneering rock and roll song, came out around the time of "Shake, Rattle and Roll" and it was kind of the reflexive pop response to more unconventional figures like Haley and a cadre of innovative black artists. Still, this is fun and original, a barbershop tune with a strong flavor of rock and roll with a certain backbeat and electric guitar
