I saw this video on Channel 4's The Chart Show, that was broadcast on 13th June 1986. The video just at the end of the Creepers song is from Cabaret Voltaire, whose song is called "Shake Down The Whole Thing"

A great song !! Never expected he would end up on Radio 1 and then ultimately on BBC Radio 6. It's a pity you haven't got the specialist chart from this chart show episode to upload.

I agree, but it is a storming version... even got picked up by those behind Optimo as an unlikely floor-filler, alongside 'Take Me, I'm Yours' by Squeeze...

Not my Fave, but good to see any Creepers classics on youtube. This stuff is rare as a Black Dwarf innit?

I had the (first?) issue of Oink! with the flexidisc that I only fairly recently found out was by Riley. I found a download of a rerecorded version that sadly didn't quite resemble the disc I had when I was 5.

OMFG! Me & younger my bro always used to joke that the singer looked like Snatcher Sam from Oink! comic. So after finding this video, I googled Snatcher Sam to see if there was a likeness - and found this: "Snatcher Sam Sam was such a career criminal that he couldn't actually manage to use anything he hadn't stolen. Though he was sometimes drawn, by various artists, Sam usually featured in occasional photo-strips, played by Marc Riley (who never drew him)" I'm in shock!
