Yup, this is the real deal. A lot of 60s bands get attention on YouTube just because they're from the 60s (Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick and Tich, I'm looking at you) but this is a genuinely great song.

The sound the guitarist/engineer/producer gets on the album recording of "Making Time" is soooooo unique - love the way the it grabs you - very aggressive - to me, the sound is both raw yet fluid/smooth - but not overly "studio tricked" - wish I could replicate!!!

V UK rebríčku skončila 7. júla 1966 na týždeň na 49.m.Skupina vznikla v Middlesexe v roku 1961 pod názvom Mark Four. Rozpadli sa po poslednom koncerte 6. júna 1966 John Dalton basový gitarista sa pripojil ku Kinks. Nahradil ho Bob Garner zo skupiny Tony Sheridan Band. Skupinu Creation okrem neho tvorili Kenny Picket nar. 3. septembra 1947 vo Ware spev, Eddie Philips nar. 15. augusta v Leytonstone solová gitara a Jack Jones nar. 8. novembra 1944 v Northamtone bicie.V oktobri 1966 mala skupina hit Painter Man na 36.m., ktorého cover verzia skupiny Boney M bola TOP 10 hitom v marci 1979. Po nahraní tejto skladby sa novým basovým gitaristom stal Kim Gardner zo skupiny BIRDS. V skupine hral aj Ron Wood ex Birds, ktorý neskôr hral gitaru vo Faces a Rolling Stones. Gardner mal v roku 1970 hit č. 3. Resurection Shuffle v skupine Ashton, Gardner and Dyke. Pickett pôsobil neskôr ako skladateľ. V roku 1995 remormoval Creation. Dňa 10 januara 1997 Pickett zomrel vo svojom dome na zlyhanie srdca.
