My father just passed away suddenly and I believe this song holds the key as to why he left us without a word. My father was not ill, he was going great guns the day before and the next day he passed away peacefully in his sleep. I am trying to find out the true meaning of this song so that my mum and our family can feel at peace as these are the last words I believed my father left for us. How we came about this song is that my father was a lover of bluegrass and he plays on a regular basis with his group of friends. My sister asked them to perform a song on the day of service and one of the guys mentioned that my father was really keen on this song. My father rarely showed his sentimental side as most music he played was funny and very happy but this song is really out of the ordinary. That leads me to believe that my father left this song as a parting message to us. Please someone help me to understand this song more so that my mum can share his final message.
