As they got better disco killed them. . A second LP from Londan was scrapped after a few tracks. Some fans are persueing this but no avail.

@cdkay The older generation in the mid 70s (just by a couple of years) were absolutely no inspiration or help at all. They didn't know who I was talking about.

Something about this album cover (perhaps its desolate setting) or the severe title font and the way The Cowsills are posed has always reminded me of "The Hills Have Have Eyes" (!) Not sure why, it just always has. Great album though, with several haunting harmonies, especially "Heather Says".

MGM fulfilled their contract with them and decided not to renew. They signed with London.Unfortunately disco was in and Cowsills weren't. The first album with them tanked coming in below 100 in the top seller list .Work started on the second album was aborted. A few songs for that second album were recorded but to this day never released to the public. Also it's known Bill was kicked out of the group at this time but why is Barbara seemed to have disappeared? A Cowsill Fan.

Okay, Xhominne6, responding to your 5 month old commentary. Just heard 'Heather Says' and, yes, the words seem not out of the ordinary but definitely considering their young ages and the fact that they're all singers and musicians and the way the song is sung.
