When was the last time the radio played songs like this. All I hear now is Drake's and Jay-Z's faggot bullshit.

The Coup ... Kill My Landlord ...well .. there does exist a recording (and an excellent one at that) with very explicit lyrics which are not for everyone by Brooklyn Funk Essentials.. Now; do not pre-judge this as .. well, having listened to a number of things by this band over the years (this is the earliest I've found) they are freaking amazing and not at all run of the mill, gangsta or any of that. just .. damn they are great. and lyrically way up there; surprises in there, tricky..(have a personal aversion to gangsta as my 'hood is full of this and get sickof hearing 'ho lyrics and 'what I gonna do ...'. ok, got the idea? just sayin.)..

Since when has The Coup been considered underground? I can spit in the air at my school and chances are good that the person it lands on will know of the Coup. Christ, they were one of the bands in some NBA game.

@lari861 because they will never take Illuminati money, bro. The entire mainstream music industry has been hijacked by those fucks, and this is why mainstream music is mindless. The underground will always be full of roots growing invisibly through the earth.
