I don't want to dis the Corrs cos I know millions of people like them and they have brought Irish music into the mainstream so fair play to them, but it is true you could hear this tune in a pub session or ceilidh almost anywhere in Ireland Scotland or England played just as well. Carolines bodhran solo was good what you could hear of it pity the sound crew didn't have it miked up properly

This is not a Christmas song but I love this song as my daddy has some black Irish in him and they live still live in Ireland . When we were in Ireland many years ago, we found our relatives in the phone book ( but they have lived in the same house for generations as my grandfather went to visit them in world wore 2 ) but my father got shy and refused to contact them. this song wants to makes me dance! :)Plus I love this band - The Corrs. I naturally have dark hair like them, light eyes and pale skin. I dated a guy from Ireland in my late 20's and he used to tell me I looked like the lead singer of The Corrs". Now that's a complement but back then I didn't know who he was talking about.

I agree about the guitar solo. Simply redundant, and does not quite make it. BTW, this is an OK version of the tune, but I've heard better from traditional musicians.
