serious about this comment. Too good for this day and age unless you know what's happening.

I don't understand what people want out of pop nowadays! Considering Bill Ryder-Jones had left, this is definitely their maturest album!!

Though it got critical acclaim, Butterfly House - it's still criminally underrated by the masses....my favourite album they've done. Just think about all the SHITE in the charts and absorb it's undeniable beauty.

I like the Coral. This Song should be a single together with She's coming around! More Than A Lover, Walking in the Winter and Two Faces... What's this all about? I think ther're much radio friendlier songs on the album. I mean them are great songs though. But what is all the unpretentiousness about?

This has a very Steely Dan moment right up to the key change. I would also say that Two Faces is the most Steely Dan-sounding song on the album.

@bowles123 you can get around that problem by writing the word dot.... like this: google(dot)com :) All we have to do, is delete the brackets and the word dot and substitute the actual . POST AWAY :)

These guys are amazing, but I really think they shoot themselves in the foot by choosing the wrong songs as singles. I know its purely opinion, but 'Sandhills' and 'Falling all around you' are the two most radio-friendly songs on this album, thus should be singles. R&E had 'In the rain' (fan-favourite), and 'Shes got a reason' which has a great hook and was very current, so should have been singles. I have faith in them will support them - whatever their decisions -but sometimes I do despair..!

@bowles123 I agree...so melodically rich...a proper summmer tune as I troop off to work, having it in my head is no bad thing! Traces of all the greats in there...CS&N, America even...they're the latest in a great line of harmony bands...
