@BohemianConspiracy Absolutely agree. Since Karloff left Kasabian, they have not been the same since. Yes they have grown more popular but the music took a massive hit when he left, not to mention live. As for the Coopers, criminally underrated. I saw Kasabian support the Coopers back in the day aswell

@BohemianConspiracy I actually saw TCTC play at the kentish town forum before they released there 2nd album, Kasabian supported! No one knew who they were. haha

... when kasabian lose the co-leader and co-songwriter Karloff after their 1st (and best) album ...-Chris Karloff was mostly responsable of the synth and keyboards sound and some guitars in Kasabian- ... i immediatly imagine that this guy with 2 or 3 members of the Cooper and some others could on paper do something great... but well ...it's always in theory... because the Coopers and Kasabian (1st lp who is a little bit more electrock than the next two) have clearly some sonic similarites...

the drummer is now a tour drummer for quite successful brazilian electrodancerock band CSS ...(means... Cansai de Sei Sexy = Tired of bein' Sexy!) but i don't know if the Temple drummer will stay with them for more than just some tours... i hope that he will stay to record their next album...

@dfstarborn tom is now in electro outfit 'the losers',ben is now coaching and playing for a football team. jon has done session work and toured with css as stand in. not sure what the others are up to. such a shame. one of the finest live acts britain has ever had.

These guys were great but i suppose they didn't do much media and payed for it in the end of course thats the way it is now day's but the left 3 great albums along with great b-sides does anyone no if any of them are doing anything like where do they work n have any of them said anything since the split?

I actually find the wombats to be hilarious (in a fun way). Did this band break up? (I know the answer seems to obviously be no but I am exercising a bit of hope her that someone will say no) As for British rock- I live in north america, at least you do not have Nickelback being played at you all the time.

They were one of the few bands whose albums just got better and better - they need to reform to save us from all this Scouting for Girls and The Feeling crap that's polluting the radiowaves continuously
