Released on King in the US and in the UK on Parlophone R 5931 (3rd December 1971). Later re-issued on London.

Undoubtedly this is the best rendition of the song. besides, the composers had written beforehand this song for the Coasters, but they were eventually the Clovers those who sang it. the Coaster´s excellent afro rythm and percussion instruments must had influenced another great funk band of the era: the Wars of Eric Burdon. Especially in the song Spill the Wine.
