"The Clay People" is the quintessential old-school Albany band of the 90's. My biggest regret was I never knew about them until I was 16. (1997) I remember (Grubby) Mike Guzzardi used to work the door at the local dive known as Valentines. He'd sit on a stool with a fist full of cash and his foot against the wall. "Five bucks" he'd lick his fingers thumb out change, and drop his foot to let you pass. First I saw them they opened for Static X who opened for Staind.
