I miss them singing together!! The Civil Wars got me through some really tough times. They were all I listened to when I was going through my divorce. I'd get so lost into their music that I'd forget the world for a little while. Just like this song. =)) I love everything about Dust to Dust. It's so easy to understand because the emotion is so real. This is pure art.

So I looked at their website, it didn't say why they broke up... I'm sorry I am so confused.I just don't get it, If it ware me, I would fight so hard, I just wouldn't quit. idk if they needed a break they could take another hiatus, but I would not have ended the duo.Music as a brand is far more powerful than being solo, and writing music with your best friend...man...give me that job and see if I ever wanna leave.
