Dan Kootch on guitar, Jim Gordon on drums and her then husband Charles Larkey on bass. Larkey and Kootch had just left the Fugs. Talk about musical direction change.

Also covered by Roger Nichols and the Small Circle of Friends. Love this song! This version is the greatest.

And, I also put it in my "BST.." with the Blood, Sweat and Tears version.

Remade by Carole herself in 1980 on "Pearls". Also covered by the Tokens in 1970 and the Association in 1972. I put all 4 versions in my Association playlist. Thanks for the upload!

I love this song, but I don't think she ever played it in concert later, did she?

Where did you leave those old New York photos? I thought they were a great tribute to this song. Made it a special sixties melancholic atmosphere.

What old photos can do, the piano playing at the end does also, take me back to long forgotten times. Listening to Carole, I am this little kid again. A voice from my youth. That's to me the real power of music.

Killer song!!! I have this on "Pearls" but this's a (to me) better version; harmony to die for.....
