I told some promoters in my immediate locale about this band. I doubt if they'll ever book CK. Most of the hillbillies and vegetables around here aren't ready for a band this intense/heavy.

When I first heard Lenny Kaye's compilation of 1960s garage band psyche, I said to my mates: "This stuff is gonna be big medicine about thirty years from now." Nothing out there today can even begin to get near this!

I would have to agree with you if the Nordics wouldn't clean the table with the Nomads!

good god I love this song. The Third Bardo rocked, and hey so do the Chesterfield Kings. Third Bardo version is on The Pebbles Box, or for vinyl afficiandos PEBBLES Volume 3: The Acid Gallery. Saw Bardo singer Jeff Monn (aka Chris Moon) sing this ditty at Cavestomp back in 1999. wild!!

I'd heard of the LP's "song's the Cramps taught us" but thought it was just a hommage to the Cramps by other artists. In fact I swear I heard one and it was just that (must be going mad) anyhow just to get it straight Im guessing This must be a track that influenced them unless they released it on an album after "A Date with Elvis" as that is as far I went with the Cramps back in the Day. If i'm wrong then which album is this third Bardo track on?

The 3 cd comp "Songs The Cramps Taught Us" is all originals (or at least by someone like Jailhouse Rock by some other 50's singer not Elvis)But all the songs on them were also covered by The Cramps thru the late 70's-the present. The name is just a take off of The Cramps album "Songs The Lord Taught Us".I was jusaying it's fun to listen to the orig. 1st then listen to The Cramps way after.

Just listened to this song off of one of the 3 comp cd's "Songs The Cramps Taught Us" Terrifect to hear it this way then hear it the way The Cramps know how to do it (and all the others on the cd's) in thier own twisted way
