Live acoustic performance of Last Fallen Hero, the song that was axed by PBS from their 2002 Capitol 4th TV special. PBS thought the song was too serious and didn't match the Yankee Doodle Dandy spirit of the show.
Charlie pulled out because he felt it was important to honor our troops on the first 4th of July after 9/11.
Many local PBS stations aired this video of the song before the Capitol 4th show.

God Bless our Troops as well as Charlie! My parents were married in 1963 as well. Now, how many people you know have a marriage that lasts like that?! True love, values, etc.! I tried my hand at it, 3 year engagement with a New Zealand woman, didn't work out, I came back home.
