After over 18 years of experience, The Charlatans haven't reached writers block and are still crafting cracking Indie Pop singles up to this date whilst still keeping their trademark dance rythms and organ, a reminant of the Madchester scene. Even though Bad Days isn't a single, it should be one in it's own right, and therefore justifies my opinion that this album is full of strong tunes.

@arcadiankicks the roses were performing together by 1985. 'The Patrol' (ian/john) is the band you are thinking of.. the Charlatans didn't come about until 1988.. the Stone Roses already had 2 EPs out by then. They did support the roses but it wasn't until after Some Friendly (1990) was out....13 years ago

@boltwared actually that's not right, the charlatans supported on the stone roses first tour as the stone roses, i think. Before that the stone roses were called something else and had a slightly different line up. The charlatans were doing club gigs before then.13 years ago

It's easy to forget the charlatans and push them into the madcester camp im at least to someone in their thirties.
