The Celtic Tenors are coming to Public Television in March for St. Patrick's Day! The Celtic Tenors are one of the most successful classical crossover artists ever to come from the Emerald Isle. An impromptu audition in the boardroom of music publisher EMI resulted in a legendary contract-on-the-spot, and their debut album in 2000 became the first Christmas Number 1 Classical album of the new Millenium. The group found it had a talent for breaking the Tenor mold and created a new style of music known as Celtic Crossover. Contact your local PBS station to find out when the program will air. NOt bad, not bad at all, i would say they have mastered an all together vocal blend, but i cant say its even close to the irish tenors version of danny boy. when the irish tenors do it, they do not fully capture the essence of peace, however it is beautiful. however, both the groups did very well, but on the celtic tenors part, (i myself being a sophomore male in high school) i would have to say the trio we had do it in my chorus was far better the the celtic tenors.

Good feeling for the piece, all of them. Like the holds on dissonant chords, really brings out the emotion of the piece. However, the only decent singer in the group is the center guy. The other two can't seem to produce great tone. I agree, this is one of the most ear pleasing arrangements of this piece I've heard but their are some vocal blending issues and vowel diphthong problems. I've sung with professional groups as a college student, notably The King's Singers, so I think I know my stuff

They're nasally and out of tune =/ Not an enjoyable performance from "professionals."

well...to this untrained ear, this is more pleasant than their - in my opinion - lackluster version of Samuel Barber's Adagio for Strings. I know their classical singers and all, not knocking that, but I like that in this song, they just sound very relaxed and natural, like just a few guys having a good song together.

Te Celtic Tenors a capella. An a capella part of their concerts always is a highlight. Their beautiful voices apart and in harmony. Fabulous!!!
