This was the first song I heard from Mumford and sons. It was at my Grandfather's wake. Everyone was talking and drinking and I didn't feel up to it. So I started talking to the daughter of my Grandfather's carer who let me listed to music on her phone for a bit. This was one of the songs. It still makes me think of my Grandfather a little when I listen to it.

Es una letra muy existencial. Pero considero que sólo habla del dolor de una ruptura de una relación de pareja, donde uno quiere irse y el otro no. Al parecer el que no quiere irse (es decir no salir de la cueva) fue el que cometió muchos errores y obvio está arrepentido. El otro que ya no aguanta más no seguirá la relación pero tampoco dejará a su ex-pareja internarse en el dolor. Sólo le aconseja que abrase su libertad, comience de nuevo y reconozca quién verdaderamente es, cómo el también lo hará. Bueno, perdón por mi español, pero es lo que pienso. Saludos.
