Well, I'm not a veteran, but I do want to thank you all for everything you did. Some of my guy friends went and I remember being very sad. This was an awesome song about that time. Lots of good memories with these old songs. 60's songs ..... nothing like them. nothing.

I too am a two time (1966 and again in 1969) disabled Viet Nam vet. These songs sure bring back memories (some good-some not so good.) I agree with everyone out there who believes this music will not, and should not die. I believe the music of today is one cause of the troubled youth of today. They do not have some one to lead them like we did. God bless.
