The melody line comes so close to the Supremes' "Come Into My Palace." But it was a total coincidence. The writers of both songs had never heard the other song. So there was no case for plagiarism. I was amazed when Motown pressed a plagiarism suit on Len Barry's "One Two Three" because it resembled "Ask Any Girl" and WON! I am convinced the Len Barry song composers knew nothing about "Ask Any GIrl."10 years ago
