Anyone who says this sounds like crap never heard live music in their life. So Sad, so say this sounds great! Most of what you hear to today is manipulated and processed so consider yourself schooled.

Many Guitar Players and most listeners typically under appreciate the Cars and Elliot Easton in particular.......but watch and listen to the Guitar on this track. Oh, and for all the people I see attempting to play this in "F".......just watch It's supposed to be done in "E".

The Cars and especially Rick Ocasek are a very class act way ahead of their time. Their music is totally timeless in that you could hear this song for the very first time today and think it was just released. This group blew me away when I first heard them over here in New Zealand back in the '80s. Fell completely head over heels in love with their music. Even their first album 'The Cars' blew my mind. The entire album so rocks and their opening track 'Let The Good Times Roll' is an absolute masterpiece, even of genius quality to be honest. The song would actually have to be considered one of the greatest rock songs of all time.

This is typically one of very few songs whose live stage performances are far better and entertaining than the studio version.

GREAT American band. Very, very cool. That's Ben Orr on bass/vocal, Elliot Easton on guitar and Ric Ocasek on lead vocal - very cool guy. Very cool band. Unbelievable performance. Epitome of cool. We won't forget the Cars - made a lot of good records. This was their best.
