I will say this... this "album" ...actual vinyl, was and always will bring me total recall of, some HOT summer nights. I believe thus was one of the best albums ever. It's been skipped over but I know what everyone was listening to.. and Cany-O was one of them. Am I wrong?

First, great job on this video, I have never seen this clip with the original audio, it's always been the album track dubbed over this live performance!Second, as an avid Cars fan for many, many years, I have to say that the songwriting and musicianship of this band was WAY ahead of its time. The Cars were musical pioneers for so many acts that followed, and are grossly underrated in the musical world. I could go on, but the music here speaks for itself. LOVE YOU BENJAMIN ORR FOREVERRRR!!!!!!!!! gone but not forgotten!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was never an Ocacek fan when the Cars became my first favorite band in 79. But as time has passed I've come to realize that if it wasn't for him"Ric" there would be no Cars BC he wrote Virtually every song they sung. So here's to you Ric. Candy-O is a perfect album to me. Not a bad song in teh mix. I listen to it from beginning to end and love every song. Got the album when I was in High school for Christmas. Best Christmas gift ever.
