The Cars got dissed back in the day because their song performances were carbon-copies of the album versions. But I like Orr's lead vocal here far more than the album - he's far more relaxed and in his element. I will say, though, that the solos from Easton and Hawkes are exactly like the album - that's a bit slavish to be honest.

The KAARS witch we used to call them when I grew up in Mass. were the total package. I was lucky enough to meet Ben Orr on Newbury street one night and WHAT a totally cool dude. He was a true master piece. And the tool who wrote he looked like Cameron D. is a closet spank master. You prob. weren't even a thought in your parents plan at the time when the Cars broke out on the Beantown scene. Ben Orr was an outstanding song writer and singer.
