Carpenters are my favorite artists, and it's really hard to single out my favorite/best tracks; so many were superlative. But this song was one of the most beautiful recordings they ever made. Karen's beautiful, dark, haunting crystal clear vocals perfectly overlay Richard's arrangement and their superb orchestra/band members. Music is a matter of taste but I don't see how anyone could say this was not good. Some twit probably will, but pearls before swine. Thanks for sharing this.
