Wow! I witnessed the Call with their new power come to the dry high desert in Las Cruces about 1983 at the Pan Am Center. We were mesmerized. The band came out wearing only black pants and plain black t-shirts, are these the roadies we thought, nope, they were the Call, and we heard it loud and clear. They later opened up for Simple Minds on yet another tour, and again, they were spectacular, spiritual and solid. What a night! Mr. Been, a genuine thank you pal! You did it right! Raul Dorn
