When Jesamine Goes was released in Feb 1968 Pye made a poor job of promoting the single and it failed to chart. As it was an obvious hit it was picked up by The Casuals who released it in August 1968. It became a Worldwide hit for them .

Strange how this never made it. But then many painters had pictures that did not receive acclaim. Now you would have to have very deep pockets to buy them. It's being in the right place at the right time, with what people want at that time. That's half the battle of getting recognised.
