No studio players on this. McGuinn played 12 string of course, but also played the 6 string lead break using Crosby's Gretsch. Great song (but this is not the final take)...

@AsianArtist2000 You were at Monterey? I envy you. Did you see Brian Jones?

@Fooblestheclown You are so right. I've forgotten about all of these great songs because I've been listening to the Greatest Hits type CDs. And when I saw the Byrds at the Monterey Pop Festival, it was too late. Gene Clark was gone. I did get to hear David Crosby and songs from the Younger then Yesterday album.

Yes! say no to downloading Byrds tunes. So David Crosby can afford another liver transplant.

Yes! this is what I live for. Tracks like this. I'm so sick of hearing tracks from the Byrds like Mr. Tamborine man and Turn, turn, turn.....that's all we have been listening to through the mainstream media....when in fact they have recorded so many more hits like this one being played right now.

Once upon a time in a land far away it was all about the music. I miss that.

I got it off Napster years ago when it was free. You will get it off Limewire...you just have to be persistent.

well the song 'Mr. Tambourine Man' is very easy to find, but not many of the other songs, or the entire album is almost impossible to find.

You could have downloaded it off a filesharing network like I did.
