Nice rendition. A brickie once told me that 'your dirty lime' was correct. The lime was used in the mortar, and needed to be clean to make a good job. But 'lies' fits OK. And of course 'Botany Bay' was the destination only for the First Fleet - after that they sailed into Sydney Cove. But again - it rhymes better, so turns up in many songs of the time.
