When a band comes out with a sound that is drastically different from anything they've ever released before, like AFI did with December Underground, you can expect hardcore fans of the old style to take it like a slap to the face and start raging. I understand they're trying to appeal to a new audience, now, but what about the people who have supported you from the start all the way up until now?
